After being traded to the Sacramento Kings on Feb. 20, Jason Terry will not be joining the team at all this season, according to a report from Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee.

Terry was moved to the Kings with forward Reggie Evans in exchange for swingman Marcus Thornton. With a logjam at the wing spot and with Terry's aching left knee, the former Mavericks guard has decided to rehab his knee in preparation for the 2014-2015 NBA season in Dallas rather than try to earn minutes for coach Mike Malone.
It is just as well. Sacramento has rookie guards Ben McClemore and Ray McCallum to try and develop as they wallow in the depths of the Western Conference. Terry has posted career-lows of 4.5 points on 36.2 percent shooting while averaging 16.3 minutes per game.
Sam Hinkie, Danny Granger to discuss buyout from Sixers
Newly acquired forward Danny Granger apparently is looking forward to a buyout from the Philadelphia 76ers, according to a report from John Gonzalez of CSNPhilly.com.
Granger was traded with a second-round pick on Feb. 20 to Philadelphia for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen. The Sixers are one of the worst teams in the NBA with a record of 15-41 and Granger would like to be bought out in order to land with a contender this season.
But Granger clearly does not want to be in Philly and is expected to push for his release to try to work his way to Miami, OKC, SA, etc.

Philadelphia could also hang on to him to use as sign-and-trade bait come this summer. General Manager Sam Hinkie and Granger are set to meet to discuss their options.
Charlie Villanueva could get buyout from Detroit
Embattled Detroit Pistons forward Charlie Villanueva would entertain a contract buyout, according to a report from MLive.com's David Mayo.

Villanueva has not been a part of the Pistons' regular rotation, which features big men Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond and Josh Smith. He is averaging a career-low 8.9 minutes per game, finding no space for action in the jam-packed frontcourt rotation. Villanueva is currently listed as the third power forward behind third-year man Jonas Jerebko.
