The Nets outlasted a depleted Spurs squad, 103-89, in Brooklyn on Thursday night. This game was uglier than you could have imagined with Nando de Colo's mask coupling with Matt Bonner's in an effort to protect their delicate noses.

Two protective facemasks couldn’t protect San Antonio from a beatdown by the Nets on Thursday night.

— Steve Noah (@Steve_OS) February 7, 2014 To make matters worse, the Spurs were without multiple players for part or all of Thursday night's game including Boris Diaw, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard and Tim Duncan, leaving them incredibly short-handed. Fighting was no use, as Alan Anderson had 22 points off the bench for the Nets in the win.
Golden State Warriors 102, Chicago Bulls 87
To the surprise of no one, this one was all Golden State (and all Steph Curry) throughout. Chicago, despite Joakim Noah and all of Tom Thibodeau's genius, could not handle the Warriors at full strength and they were certainly clicking on Thursday night. Chicago was tantalizingly close early in the fourth quarter but couldn't find the offense to pull through.
Curry finished with 34 points on 13-of-19 shooting, adding seven assists as the Warriors continue their hot streak through the Western Conference. Chicago has nothing left if not their defense and even at that the Warriors were able to shoot 48 percent on their way to a convincing win at Oracle.
