Mike Woodson rumored to coach Indiana if fired by Knicks
The oft-maligned coach of the New York Knicks might seek safe haven in his former home.

Indiana is just 17-15 on the season and head coach Tom Crean is on the hot seat in Bloomington. The Hoosiers have gone to the NCAA Tournament in each of the last two seasons and were one of the best teams in the country last year, but they have struggled to make ends meet after star players Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller were taken in last year's NBA Draft.
It's not clear what move, if any, the Knicks will make this offseason. Phil Jackson has yet to officially sign papers with his former team to become an executive of exceedingly vague responsibility. Woodson has struggled mightily shepherding a declining Knicks roster; New York is floundering outside of the playoff picture at 26-40 after finishing last season 54-28.
