James Harden and Dwight Howard combined for 51 points, but it wasn’t enough to knock off Miami. Ray Allen scored 25 off the bench to lead the Heat.
Heat edge Rockets, Thompson’s 3 beats Blazers

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY SportsThe Warriors trailed by 18 points midway through the third quarter, but Curry and Thompson helped trim that deficit to just eight heading into the final frame. Golden State caught Portland with just over six minutes to go in the game, setting up the frantic finish.

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY SportDavis’ masterpiece is just part of a recent string of dominant performances. After two rough outings to start March, the 21-year-old has averaged 32.3 points and 14.3 rebounds in the last six games. During that time, he’s shooting 57.9 percent from the field and making 87.1 percent from the line on 10.3 free throw attempts per game.
Big things were expected from Davis as the No. 1 pick out of Kentucky, but it’s kind of incredible how quickly he has turned into an elite player. Perhaps the most impressive part of Davis’ breakout season is the vast improvement in his mid-range game. After shooting just 29.4 percent on 218 mid-range attempts during his rookie season, Davis has knocked down 42.2 percent of his 303 mid-range shots this season, per NBA.com’s stats page.

Irving dealt with injury problems in each of his first two NBA seasons, and he also missed most of his one season at Duke. Another injury would seem almost fitting in a season that has proved tumultuous for Irving.

Another solution is to spread out the message. LET’S GO BUCKS could become LET ‘SG OBU CKS. Or you could do each of the words on the first three signs and put a “!” or even “!!!” on the fourth sign. Or why not “LET’S GO MILWAUKEE BUCKS”? Sure, you’re already in Milwaukee and that part is obvious, but there’s no harm in clarity.

Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY SportIt’s been a frustrating afternoon for DeMar DeRozan. He missed his first six shots, and his Raptors are losing ground to the Phoenix Suns in a very important Sunday afternoon game.
Thus, he did what many struggling players do: he attacked the basket with little regard for his teammates. And when he inevitably was stripped, he got angry because he thought he was fouled.
