North Carolina State forward T.J. Warren has decided to enter the NBA Draft.
Warren led the Wolfpack this season with averages of 24.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, and is viewed as a deadly scorer at the pro level. The 6'8, 215-pound forward is projected to go 18th overall in the 2014 draft, according to Draft Express.
NCAA basketball’s third leading scorer nearly doubled his scoring average from his freshman year, though he did so with less efficiency. After shooting 62 percent from the floor and 51 percent from three-point range during his freshman campaign, N.C. State’s dependency on Warren led to those excellent figures dropping to a still very good 53 percent overall and 27 percent from three-point range in 2013-14.

Warren sometimes displayed poor shot selection and has questionable mechanics, but he was elite at scoring at the rim and at mid-range thanks to his feel for the game and aggressiveness moving off the ball. He scored 30 or more points nine times during his sophomore year, including back-to-back 40-plus point performances against Pittsburgh and Boston College in early March.
Warren scored 25 points in the Wolfpack's NCAA Tournament play-in game against Xavier, then scored 28 -- though he struggled by hitting just 6-of-14 free throws -- in an 83-80 overtime loss to Saint Louis in the second round of the tournament.
