Lakers forward Pau Gasol left a game against the Orlando Magic on Sunday with dizziness and was hospitalized overnight with a case of vertigo, according to the team. An MRI on Gasol's head showed nothing of concern, but Los Angeles lists its starting forward as being doubtful to play in a home game Tuesday night against the New York Knicks.

The forward will be re-examined on Tuesday.
Gasol played 19 minutes in the first half of the game Sunday but didn't come out of the locker room after halftime because of nausea. He was taken to the hospital, received IVs and was held overnight for precautionary reasons. The Lakers would go on to beat the Magic 103-94 behind a career game from big man Jordan Hill, who led Los Angeles with 28 points and 13 rebounds.
Gasol is averaging 17.5 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game for the Lakers, who are 23-46 on the season.
It's likely Los Angeles coach Mike D'Antoni could turn to center Chris Kaman if Gasol isn't able to play.
