Eric Bledsoe is set to return to the Phoenix Suns' lineup Wednesday when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team officially announced. Bledsoe last played Dec. 30, missing 31 games since being forced out and undergoing surgery to remove part of his meniscus.

His return comes during the final stretch of the season while Phoenix tries to hang on to its playoff spot. The Suns are currently the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference, but both the Dallas Mavericks and Memphis Grizzlies are within one game of them. Phoenix is also in striking distance of the Golden State Warriors, just two games back.

Bright Side of the Sun: Suns preparing to reintegrate Bledsoe

Bledsoe has had a career season in his first year with the Suns, averaging 18 points and 5.8 assists per game. Phoenix has played a small backcourt featuring both Blesoe and Goran Dragic and the duo has been successful together. The Suns are on track to make the playoffs for the first time since 2010.
