Saturday's jersey retirement ceremony in Cleveland might also have foreshadowed the end of Zydrunas Ilgauskas's time with the Cavaliers' front office, per a report from Jason Lloyd of Ohio.com.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas on his way out in Cleveland, according to report
With general manager Chris Grant gone, it is unlikely that Big Z will return to his position in Cleveland’s front office next season.

The former Cavs and Miami Heat big man has been an assistant to the general manager in Cleveland since January 2012 when he joined former GM Chris Grant to help evaluate both amateur and professional talent. Grant was fired on Feb. 6 after the Cavaliers started the season a disappointing 16-33, despite tremendous optimism before the season began.
Ilgauskas’s jersey retirement ceremony notwithstanding, he has been seen less frequently at Cavaliers home games this year and hasn’t been around the team facilities much since Grant was let go, according to the report. With tension in the air in Cleveland, and the team still flailing at a miserable 24-40, there doesn’t appear to be much hope for the Cavs.
Cleveland has had to deal with strife all season, including Anthony Bennett's slow start, rumors of Kyrie Irving leaving and trading Luol Deng for disgruntled center Andrew Bynum.
