DeAndre Jordan is a massive human being. With leg muscles that effectively telescope him into the stratosphere and mountains of upper body strength, he is hard to stop at the rim. You can just ask Serge Ibaka, pictured above.
With such gifts, he’s extremely effective as the KO punch on an alley-oop finish, as you can imagine. Sometimes it’s an obvious designed pick and roll to get him there, but sometimes he recognizes the space the defense is giving up and he just drifts towards the hoop without defenders noticing and BOOM he’s dunking the ball behind his head in a reverse jam.
I’m not sure how many people can do this.
And I'm beginning to think Kendrick Perkins may not be quick enough to defend this pick and roll.
