Good morning. Let’s basketball.

L.A. STORY: How Doc Rivers left behind a winter of discontent for sunshine and revival in Los Angeles. Another must-read from Paul Flannery.

HOT LIKE CURRY: Stephen Curry hit a brilliant shot with 0.1 seconds remaining in overtime to launch the Warriors past the Mavericks, because of course he did. Of course, that shot was set up by a highly questionable block by Jermaine O’Neal -- it appears on review that J.O. got away with a goaltend (via @cjzero) on a Monta Ellis lay-up that would have given Dallas a two-point lead as Curry came down the court.

Oh, and Danny Crawford had the baseline on that play. In Dallas. Yup. If the Mavericks miss the playoffs by one game, we’ll be hearing about this for a while.

DEATHRACE UPDATE: The Mavericks’ loss moves them into No. 9 in the West. The inactive Grizzlies are No. 7, and the Suns bounced back into No. 8. The total margin between the three teams: 0.5 games.

MORE SCORES: The Nets smoked the Dwight-less Rockets and more.

BOBERT BACK! The brilliant Jon Bois debuts NBA Y2K, a Breaking Madden spin-off starring Bobert Awful. Can the Sixers go 0-82? We won’t spoil it. I do, however, recommend avoiding watching the conclusion video at work unless you have a cool boss or don’t mind getting fired due to being overcome with laughter that turns into crying.

UMM: The Goran Dragic music video that really never should have existed. Slovenia is a magical place.

YIKESVILLE: A former Barclays Center employee is suing the Rockets after players and staff reportedly directed gay slurs at him as he set up the pre-game buffets in the visitors locker room last February. No players or staff named in the suit. There’s some real irony given that the Nets’ Jason Collins broke the NBA’s LGBT barrier this year.

MAN, GEORGE KARL NEEDS ANOTHER NBA JOB: Last night on ESPN he became Swaggy G and released a diss track about Nick Young. He revealed that Gucci Mane is his favorite rapper. Wizards, will you please just hire him already?

HIGH FIVE! Breaking down courtside Hawks fans celebrating.

AS ROME BURNS: Indy Cornrows has some helpful dos and don’ts for the imploding Pacers.

HOOP SUMMIT! Rosters revealed. Get ready to drool.

UNCIVIL WAR: Andy Kamenetzky writes that a battle could emerge between Lakers fans and Kobe fans next year. We’ll all weep for L.A., surely.

TARNISHED GOLD: Sam Amick on Joe Lacob, Mark Jackson and the odd situation in Golden State.

YEP: It’s only a matter of time before Anthony Davis rules all.

WHIMSY: Dirk Nowitzki administers a Texas citizenship test on Conan O’Brien.

Happy Wednesday. See you next time.
