Of course, that shot was set up by a highly questionable block by Jermaine O’Neal -- it appears on review that J.O. got away with a goaltend (via @cjzero) on a Monta Ellis lay-up that would have given Dallas a two-point lead as Curry came down the court.

Oh, and Danny Crawford had the baseline on that play. In Dallas. Yup. If the Mavericks miss the playoffs by one game, we’ll be hearing about this for a while.

DEATHRACE UPDATE: The Mavericks’ loss moves them into No. 9 in the West. The inactive Grizzlies are No. 7, and the Suns bounced back into No. 8. The total margin between the three teams: 0.5 games.
