Washington had a three-point lead into halftime but were outscored 24-18 in the third quarter, swinging the momentum to Chicago. Nene was also ejected after grappling with Jimmy Butler. He finished the night with 10 points and four rebounds.
The final 12 minutes were filled with foul calls and free-throws. Both teams combined for 33 free-throw attempts in the final period of the game. The Wizards host Game 4 on Sunday.
