It appears as if 20-year-old Croatian Dario Šarić has had a change of heart regarding the 2014 NBA Draft. Just weeks after it was reported that Šarić wouldn't enter the draft, the 6'10 forward has officially declared, according to a tweet by his agent.

Šarić is considered a lottery pick by many. Draft Express ranks Šarić ninth overall in the 2014 draft, while Chad Ford has Šarić placed No. 12 on his big board. Šarić will compete with Bosnian center Jusuf Nurkić and Swiss big man Clint Capela to be the first international player selected.

What type of player is Šarić? Scouting reports say he’s a skilled passer with good ball handling ability and terrific basketball IQ. At 6’10, 223 lbs., he has the size to man either forward spot in the NBA. Šarić is not an elite athlete and needs to work on his outside shot, but he has plenty of potential.

The Detroit Pistons (No. 8), Cleveland Cavaliers (No. 9) and Denver Nuggets (No. 12) are just a few teams who could be helped out by a player like Šarić in the lottery.
