The Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers have put up big offensive numbers through three games of their first-round series -- two of which required overtime -- but it's the little things that have made the difference in the win column.
NBA playoffs 2014, Rockets vs. Trail Blazers: Game time, TV schedule, radio and more
The Trail Blazers and Rockets head into Game 4 with the road team having won the first three games.

Take Game 3 as an example. Rockets guard James Harden scored 37 points to lead his team past the Blazers, but it was rarely used guard Troy Daniels who hit a three-point shot that gave the Rockets the lead for good.

The Blazers still hold a 2-1 series lead but in Game 3 finally saw forward LaMarcus Aldridge receive some push-back from the Rockets defensively. Aldridge went 8-for-22 from the floor for 23 points, and the slack picked up by Damian Lillard and Nicolas Batum wasn't enough for Portland to pull through in overtime.
As it’s been through all three games so far, Portland will get production out of Aldridge, Lillard and Batum, and Houston will likewise get its firepower from Harden and Dwight Howard. But role players making big plays might be the difference in the end.
