A late-game push by the Dallas Mavericks almost helped them to a commanding 3-1 series lead, but Boris Diaw's three-pointer with 32 seconds left sealed the deal for San Antonio, 93-89.

San Antonio’s bench scored 50 points on Monday night as big efforts from Manu Ginobili and Boris Diaw launched the No. 1 seed in the West over the Mavericks.
San Antonio looked to be in control from the start, amassing a 14-point lead going into the half and dominating the Mavericks on both ends of the floor. But Dallas came roaring out of the gates in the third quarter, scoring 29 points while narrowing the gap to just eight.
Dirk Nowitzki was particularly on-point, scoring 19 points while grabbing seven rebounds. Monta Ellis took it to the Spurs in the second half, and with 52 seconds left he completed a three-point play after being fouled on a layup to tie the score at 87-all. Diaw hit a long three-pointer on the ensuing Spurs possession, and San Antonio held on for the win.

For Dallas, Ellis led the way with 20 points on 6-of-20 shooting, adding four rebounds, three assists and two steals. Jose Calderon scored 13 points with three assists. Samuel Dalembert had just three points, but grabbed 15 rebounds to go along with a steal and a block.
San Antonio had a balanced scoring load offensively, and Manu Ginobili led the way with 23 points off the bench. Tim Duncan scored 14 points on 6-of-16 shooting, adding 10 rebounds and one block. Tiago Splitter put up 10 points, with 12 rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Game 5 is at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday in San Antonio. The series is tied, 2-2.
