Good morning, here’s the case against Donald Sterling

THE CHARGES AGAINST DONALD STERLING: The LA Times’ James Rainey has had a gander at the hundreds of pages of supporting documents the NBA put together for owners in hopes of getting enough votes to kick Donald Sterling out of the league. The recreated tick-tock based on those documents is excellent reading. Three takeaways:
1. Sterling, his wife and Andy Roeser seemed to conspire to lie to the NBA at every turn. This included an attempt to pay off V. Stiviano to lie about the tape’s veracity after the tape made headlines.
2. Stiviano may or may not have released the tape as retribution for Shelly Sterling’s lawsuit.
3. The NBA's investigation was thorough and the case to the other owners is a slam dunk Parker-Duncan pick and roll.
I would like for James Ellroy to write the screenplay for the made-for-TV movie about this.

MARK CUBAN IS COMPLICATED: The Mavericks owner said some controversial things about bigotry, and was heralded as some sort of frank-speaking hero of honesty. It’s actually quite a bit more complicated than that.
