The machine that is the Spurs was back in action on Thursday night, as San Antonio drubbed the Thunder, 117-89.

Oklahoma City played a fairly level first quarter, with Russell Westbrook attacking much the way he had during his wondrous Game 4 performance. But San Antonio pushed the Thunder around in the second quarter, breaking out a lead and going into the half up, 65-55.

The Spurs' defense tightened up, locking down Oklahoma City from three-point range and forcing the Thunder to shoot just 6-of-24 from beyond the arc. Boris Diaw was a big factor for San Antonio's second unit, scoring 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting.

San Antonio corralled Westbrook after his 40-point Game 4 performance, holding him to just 12 shots and 21 points. No Thunder player had double-digit free throw attempts, and the Spurs dominated the charity line by a margin of 30-20.

For Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant scored 25 points on 11-of-21 shooting, adding five rebounds, two assists, one steal and a block. Serge Ibaka scored just six points on 3-of-10 shooting, with two rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal. Kendrick Perkins failed to score.

San Antonio was led by Tim Duncan, who shot 8-of-13 on his way to scoring 22 points with a game-high 12 rebounds. Kawhi Leonard scored 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting, grabbing seven rebounds, two assists and two steals. Tony Parker scored 12 points and Manu Ginobili added 19 off the bench.

Game 6 is in Oklahoma City at 8:30 p.m. ET Saturday and will air on TNT.
