Dwyane Wade came away from his recent trip to Las Vegas unsure of whether LeBron James will re-sign with the Miami Heat or head home to the Cleveland Cavaliers, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. That includes a five-hour, cross-country flight the two spent together, apparently talking about things other than free agency.
Dwyane Wade flies home with LeBron James, doesn’t know decision
Like the rest of us, Dwyane Wade headed home on Friday morning unsure of what LeBron James plans to do.

On Thursday, Wade and James were seen spending time together in Vegas before the two flew back to South Beach on the same plane later that night. That led to speculation that Wade was part of Miami’s final push to keep the Big 3 together, but Wojnarowski says he left the cross-country flight unsure of what LeBron plans to do.
That keeps the situation at a standstill as the rest of the basketball world waits with bated breath for more news. At this point, the Heat and Cavaliers appear to be the only two legitimate suitors for James, but he’s left little indication as to which side he’ll ultimately choose.
Spending time with Wade would indicate that Miami might still be in the mix, particularly if LeBron still has concerns with Dan Gilbert after the Cavs owner’s Comic Sans outburst back in 2010. However, it’s bizarre that the two could be together for so long without discussing decisions that will impact the rest of their lives.
