Chris Paul has discussed the possibility of a boycott with coach Doc Rivers and fellow starters Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

If Donald Sterling owns the Clippers when next season opens, Doc Rivers and Chris Paul might not be there.

“Something has to happen, ” Paul told Goodman in Las Vegas for a grassroots high school basketball event. “And something needs to happen soon -- sooner rather than later.”
The battle for ownership of the franchise is currently stuck in court, as Donald Sterling is challenging his wife’s decision to sell the franchise without his consent. Shelly Sterling agreed to sell the the Clippers to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for $2 billion, but the sale is still pending the completion of the court case.
The NBA had a July 15 deadline for the sale to be complete, but has extended that window one month to August 15. The NBA will reportedly begin proceedings to terminate Sterling’s ownership if the sale has not been completed by then.
The possibility of Rivers and Paul boycotting the season was brought up in the trial earlier this week.
