LeBron James’ free agency is reaching a fever pitch, but the four-time MVP will not announce his future plans on Wednesday night, according to ESPN’s Chris Broussard. James met with Pat Riley and the Miami Heat in Las Vegas on Wednesday as he opened his annual basketball camp for top high school and college players. There have been rumors connecting James to the Cleveland Cavaliers as well, but it appears no announcement is coming until at least Thursday.
LeBron James will not announce free agency decision Wednesday night
Check back Thursday, folks.

Also on LeBron James, a source tells Yahoo: "No decision date set. He wants to talk to his family."
— Marc J. Spears (@SpearsNBAYahoo) July 10, 2014 The Cavs stole the spotlight Wednesday morning by dealing three players in a three-team trade to gain the maximum cap space that would be required to sign James. The Cavaliers sent Jarrett Jack and Sergey Karasev to the Nets and Tyler Zeller to the Celtics to open up well over the $21 million James will reportedly demand in his next contract.
While rumors of James’ return to Cleveland swirled all day, the Heat saw another key free agent start to gain momentum with a different team. Chris Bosh continued to work with the Houston Rockets on what would be a four-year max contract for the veteran forward. The Rockets still have to move point guard Jeremy Lin to create enough cap space, but they reportedly already have deals in place.
More free agency
Another big domino this offseason is also being pulled into James’ gravitation pull: disgruntled Timberwolves forward Kevin Love. Should the Cavs sign James, they will reportedly attempt to trade for Love. The Timberwolves will demand Andrew Wiggins, the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
There have been reports that when James does make a decision, he will announce it on his website, LeBronJames.com.
According to David Aldridge, James’ decision is coming after he speaks with his family:
Per source, LeBron James has all the information he needs from teams & will take no more meetings. Will spend next day+ talking w/family.
