Team USA faces a solid Brazil squad in its first exhibition game in advance of the FIBA Basketball World Cup.

The last time Team USA took the court in a game setting, Paul George suffered a devastating leg injury that will keep him out for the entire 2014-15 NBA season. Since then, Kevin Durant also withdrew his name from the Team USA roster this summer, leaving the squad short of two stars.
FIBA World Cup
The remaining players on the team are moving forward after the George injury, and they're ready to see how they fare against actual competition. Derrick Rose, Stephen Curry, James Harden and Anthony Davis are slated to be starters, but the fifth is still unknown.
Many eyes will be on Rose, who played just 10 games with the Chicago Bulls last season due to a torn meniscus. That knee injury came after Rose missed the entire 2012-13 season with a torn ACL. The 2011 MVP has been impressive throughout camp, showing signs that he's getting closer to being his old self.
Brazil should provide a nice test up front for Team USA, with a stable of solid NBA bigs in Nene, Tiago Splitter and Anderson Varejao. Team USA is a bit thin in the frontcourt, especially with DeMarcus Cousins sitting out due to a knee injury, so it'll be interesting to see how they deal with that size.
