The frontcourts between Spain and Brazil are at the heart of each teams' success. Marc Gasol, brother Pau and Serge Ibaka will find themselves in a challenging position with Brazil running out Anderson Varejao, Tiago Splitter and Nene. Spain's Jose Calderon and Ricky Rubio, plus Brazil's Leandro Barbosa, will highlight the NBA matchups in the backcourt.
Elsewhere in Group A, Serbia and France will be on upset alert against Iran and Egypt, respectively.
