USA vs. Lithuania, FIBA World Cup 2014: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

USA and Lithuania face off to determine who will move on to the 2014 FIBA World Cup championship.

David Ramos

Team USA is one win away from reaching the FIBA World Cup finals but has a tough matchup against Lithuania in the semifinals to get through first. USA had a landslide victory over Slovenia, sending Goran Dragic and his national team packing in a 43-point blowout. Lithuania had to overcome a slow start against Turkey in the quarterfinals, but was able to lean on a hot three-point shooting performance to advance.

USA hasn't relied on a lone player to carry the load, instead finding different players that rise to the occasion each game. Klay Thompson scored game-high 20 points off the bench against Slovenia, while Derrick Rose had his best game of the tournament. Rose was electric, putting his athleticism and body control on display throughout the game. This swerving transition basket was vintage Rose:

Lithuania's frontcourt will be a challenge for USA. Jonas Valanciunas has led the way for Lithuania, averaging team-highs with 12.9 points and 8.6 rebounds. The Toronto Raptors big man has notched three double-doubles through the tournament, highlighted by a 22-point, 13-rebound performance against New Zealand. Lithuania is shooting 40 percent from three-point range as a team, with six players reaching that mark individually.

Basketball is winding down in Spain with just four games left in total and a championship game to cap things off Sunday.
