The New Orleans Pelicans showed a sneak peak of a new red alternate uniform Tuesday. There it is in all its glory. It’s ... very red.
It will be the team’s third uniform combination after deciding to rebrand as the Pelicans one year ago, and it’ll be worn on opening night and three other times during next season.
The uniform itself leaked on the NBA store earlier Tuesday, but that wasn’t the official version of the uniform. Anthony Davis, Eric Gordon, Jimmer Fredette and Austin Rivers modeled the new ones on Tuesday.
The franchise’s primary colors are blue, red and gold. The Pelicans already have white home uniforms with blue text and primarily blue road uniforms. The Pelicans also have a variety of different logos to choose from. Here are the normal colors.
