I guess what I'm wondering is -- did Kobe actually get cameras in the room for his appointment about a season-ending injury, or is this a refilming/dramatization of Kobe getting the news? Both seem equally unlikely, right? It's definitely the doctor Kobe went to on Friday, so that's cleared up.
