Kobe Bryant played the Knicks today in Madison Square Garden. It didn’t go so great: The Knicks won, 99-95, and Kobe shot just 6-of-19 with only 18 points. But he did get off a hell of a zing. A fan captured Kobe chatting with Spike Lee -- we think -- during the game, and he had some trash to talk about New York’s offense:
Kobe Bryant on the Knicks’ offense: ‘That ain’t no f***in’ triangle, that’s a square’
A courtside fan captured an amazing video Kobe ragging on the offense his ex-teammate Derek Fisher has installed with the Knicks.

— Tommy (@tbarbs13) November 8, 2015 The Knicks, of course, are coached by Kobe’s ex-teammate, Derek Fisher. Fisher was hired by Kobe’s ex-coach Phil Jackson with the hopes that Fisher would install Jackson’s trademark triangle offense. Apparently, Kobe isn’t too impressed with the job Fisher has done. And besides Jackson or maybe Michael Jordan, not many people would have a better idea about how the triangle works.
We assume he’s talking about the Knicks and not the Lakers -- Byron Scott hasn’t professed to run the triangle, and he’s been letting Kobe do more-or-less whatever he wants this year.
