The NBA released the early voting results for the 2016 All-Star Game over the weekend and John Wall isn't happy with them. The Wizards guard, who is averaging 19.5 points and 9.7 assists for the 14-14 Wizards, trails Dwyane Wade, Kyrie Irving, Kyle Lowry and Jimmy Butler in the voting for the Eastern Conference's backcourt.

The Wizards guard is angry that he’s fifth among East guards in All-Star votes and is especially peeved that Kyrie Irving, who has played just three games this season, is ahead of him.

“It’s a joke,” Wall said to CSN Washington on Saturday. “I played like horseshit the first month and a half but I still was averaging like 16 and eight. That’s not bad numbers.”
Wall, a two-time All Star, took specific issue with Irving’s place among the vote leaders. Irving has played in just three games this year due to offseason knee surgery and has struggled since rejoining the 19-9 Cavaliers.
"I guess it's the [Cavaliers'] record," Wall said. "No offense to Kyrie, he's played [three] games. If he was healthy, he probably would be in that position because he'd be playing well. I can see him there because that's how talented he is."
Wall, like the Wizards, got off to a slow start this season. But he’s turned things around in December, where he’s averaging 22.8 points on 47.2 percent shooting and dishing out nearly 12 assists per game. Washington, after a 6-8 start, has won four in a row to reach the .500 mark.
