An ailing injury to his left leg might keep Stephen Curry out of the Warriors' next two games, according to interim head coach Luke Walton.
Stephen Curry may miss the Warriors’ next 2 games with a leg injury
The Warriors’ star may be given a few games off to fix a nagging ailment.

"There's a chance that he won't play in one or both," Walton said Tuesday, via the San Jose Mercury News. "That's probably going to be a game-time decision or at least determined on how he's feeling tomorrow."
Curry appeared to aggravate the injury during the Warriors' 122-103 Monday night home win over the Kings. He played 30 minutes and recorded a triple-double, but at times looked to be limping. Curry also briefly left the Warriors' Christmas Day win over the Cavaliers with a calf injury before returning.
“He hasn’t said anything except for he wants to play,” Walton added. “Even [Monday] night in the game when I saw him in the game limping, and I tried to take him out, he gave the wave-off and said that it was fine.”
Walton said he didn’t know the specifics of Curry’s injury, but that he believed the reigning MVP was dealing with some sort of calf strain. When asked about the limp following Monday night’s game, Curry said he was working through “the regular-season grind.”
The Warriors travel to Dallas Wednesday night and then to Houston on Thursday.
The Warriors are already without forward Harrison Barnes, who's dealing with a sprained left ankle, and guard Leandro Barbosa, who's still recovering from a sprained left shoulder. Neither player accompanied the team on its trip to Texas. Both Draymond Green (sore ankle) and Festus Ezeli (sore right foot) joined Curry on the sidelines during the Warriors' Tuesday practice, but they're expected to play.
“Guys are a little banged up, and it’s just difficult right now with the other injuries that we have because to rest one or two guys is putting lot more stress on some of the other guys,” Walton said. “If everyone was healthy right now, we’d probably most likely be resting a couple guys on this trip for at least one of the games. With the injuries we have, it’s a little more complicated than that.”
The injuries could throw a wrench in the Warriors’ quest for a record 73 regular-season wins. The team is currently 29-1.
