Ray Allen is still unsure whether he will return for a 19th season, but the veteran shooting guard plans to make a decision about his future after All-Star Weekend, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.
NBA rumors roundup: Ray Allen still unsure about future, will decide after All-Star Weekend
Allen has numerous suitors after him, but the 39-year-old still may choose to retire.

There are numerous teams in on Allen, including the Washington Wizards, Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers and Atlanta Hawks. However, Allen's agent Jim Tanner reiterated to ESPN's Chris Broussard the 39-year-old isn't sure about coming back and hasn't narrowed his list.
Allen has been working out in order to keep in shape in case he decides to sign with a team for the stretch run. The Cavaliers have long been considered the favorite because of Allen's relationship with LeBron James, Mike Miller and James Jones, and the team has left a roster spot open for about a month. James also recently met with Allen in Miami.
While Cleveland seems like the logical choice, Windhorst says don't count out Atlanta, who recently got into the Allen game. The injury to Thabo Sefolosha has left a hole on the wing off the bench, and Allen would be a good fit in the Hawks' offense. However, Peachtree Hoops notes a move would have to be made before signing the sharpshooter because Atlanta already has 15 guaranteed contracts on the roster.
Hornets, Timberwolves have discussed Mo Williams trade
The Charlotte Hornets are seeking an upgrade at point guard with Kemba Walker on the shelf following knee surgery, and the Hornets recently discussed a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves that would have brought two of them to Charlotte:
Sources: Charlotte had discussions on deal to acquire guards Mo Williams and Troy Daniels, but talks with Minnesota stalled in recent days.
— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) February 9, 2015 The Wolves don’t have much use for Williams in this lost season, and the point guard is set to become a free agent after the year. It makes sense to try and get something for him, although it’s unclear what the Hornets have offered. While talks have stalled for now, don’t be surprised if they fire up again as we get closer to the deadline.
Williams has had a solid season, averaging 12.2 points and 6.4 assists. He scored a career-high 52 points on Jan. 13.
Clippers unlikely to add anybody until after All-Star break
With Blake Griffin set to miss extended time, the Clippers could use some help. However, Doc Rivers said the Clippers likely won't make any additions to the roster until after the All-Star break:
Doc confirmed what I reported earlier - team won't be adding anyone via 10-day until after the AS break
— Dan Woike (@DanWoikeSports) February 10, 2015 Bringing in a big man would make the most sense, although Rivers wouldn’t say either way what position would be targeted if a move was pursued. Rivers also said there’s no panic after the Griffin injury, and thus, there won’t be any panic moves made.
Mavericks to sign Bernard James
The Dallas Mavericks are working to sign Bernard James to a 10-day contract, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein. James played in China this season, but his contract obligations with the Shanghai Sharks have been completed.
The Mavericks need help in the frontcourt, even before Tyson Chandler suffered an ankle injury on Monday night. With Chandler potentially missing time with the injury, Mavs Moneyball says James will bring a "much needed presence to the bench" for the time being.
Dallas is still targeting Jermaine O'Neal, but the veteran big man will likely delay his comeback until after the All-Star break. Amar'e Stoudemire will also be a target if he secures a buyout from the New York Knicks, but if that buyout happens, it's not expected to occur until after the trade deadline.
Trade Rumors
76ers not looking to move core players
The Philadelphia 76ers are sure to be active at the deadline, but the Sixers don’t plan on trading any of their best prospects, according to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Those prospects include Michael Carter-Williams, Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid. Carter-Williams's name has come up in trade rumors before, but for now, the plan is to keep the young point guard.
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute is the likeliest Sixer to get dealt. Mbah a Moute has enjoyed a nice season and is in the final year of his contract.
