2015 NBA All-Star Game halftime show: Ariana Grande set to take center stage
After a banner year in 2014, one of music’s hottest young talents will perform live at Madison Square Garden.

The 21-year-old, who was was named Billboard’s Women in Music Rising Star of 2014, will be the headliner at halftime of the midseason showcase. Her most recent public performance was live at the Grammys on Feb. 8, when she belted out the ballad “Just a Little Bit of Your Heart.”
For Grande, the performance will be yet another bullet point on an impressive resume that includes two Grammy Award nominations and an MTV Video Music award among others. Her 2014 album, My Everything, debuted atop the Billboard 200 and featured four top 10 singles.

Last year’s event in Houston featured halftime performances from Earth, Wind & Fire and Janelle Monae. In 2013, Alicia Keys took center court and the year prior saw Pitbull and Chris Brown entertain the crowd.
The entertainment Sunday night won’t be a one-woman show, however. Christina Aguilera, The Rockettes, Queen Latifah and Tamia will each take the stage before tipoff. Aguilera will get the action started in a pregame show, while Queen Latifah and Tamia will perform the American and Canadian national anthems, respectively.
Coverage of the All-Star Game begins at 7 p.m. ET on TNT. The game is set to tip off at 8:30 p.m.
