Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal exited Wednesday’s game against the Indiana Pacers after rolling his ankle in the first quarter. Beal was helped up and limped toward the sideline to see a trainer. The team has announced Beal is out for the rest of the game.

Beal has battled injuries throughout the season, playing in 53 of Washington’s 71 games up to this point. He returned to the Washington lineup a month ago after missing eight games with a mild stress reaction in his right fibula.
The 21-year-old Beal is averaging 14.8 points and 3.2 assists per game this season on 42.4 percent shooting from the field and 41.9 percent shooting from three-point range.
Washington has lost three games in a row and enters the night as the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Wizards are just 15-21 on the road this season.
