Marcin Gortat insists his shot way after the buzzer actually counted
We’ll give you an ‘A’ for effort in trying to sell this.
Marcin Gortat was convinced his last second tip-in against the Indiana Pacers should count. He was so convinced he made a beeline for the the officials, demanding they review the play.
Sadly for Gortat and the Washington Wizards, technology defeated them. The replay showed his tip came well after time expired.
Oh well, we applaud Gortat’s effort to sell the play. There are some guys working in the WWE who could learn something about selling from him.
The potential win is important for the Pacers, who remain just ahead of the Brooklyn Nets for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
