LeBron James turned it on in the fourth quarter to lead the Cavs past the Celtics in Game 2. The Wizards won in Toronto again to take a 2-0 lead with the series heading back to Washington. Houston also took a 2-0 lead, knocking off Dallas with a huge game from Josh Smith.
Pierce doesn’t want to have to go to Canada again

The Wizards cut the lead to five by the end of the first quarter, then made their move in the second behind their lethal small lineup and a Kyle Lowry-less Raptors unit. The Wizards scored 27 points in 15 possessions with Pierce at power forward, spreading Toronto’s woeful pick-and-roll defense way too thin with shooting, speed and dribble penetration. They entered the half up, 60-49, having fully taken advantage of Lowry’s foul trouble.
From there, Wall took over. He scored or assisted on the next five Wizards possessions and tossed in this mean block on Williams on the break.

Peter Llewellyn-USA TODAY SportsThe Raptors haven’t given any indication Lowry’s injury is serious, which is good news as the series heads to D.C. for Game 3. The team will need its star point guard to climb back into this series, and it appears Lowry should be okay by Friday night.

Both the Cavaliers and Celtics ended the season playing well after early struggles, making this one of the most intriguing matchups of the first round. Cleveland won the opening game, 113-100, and now is positioned to put things away in Boston after getting the job done at home.
The Celtics are doing their best to put up a fight, however. Boston led multiple times in Game 2 and rallied from a 14-point third-quarter deficit to get as close as two in the fourth. The Cavaliers eventually pulled away with James and Irving leading the way, but this was another competitive effort from a young Celtics team on the road.
