Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry had to leave Game 2 against the Washington Wizards after suffering an ankle injury in the fourth quarter on Tuesday night. The injury occurred when Paul Pierce kicked Lowry's ankle, forcing him to leave the game and take a brief trip to the locker room.
Kyle Lowry leaves Wizards-Raptors game with foot injury
The Raptors’ point guard missed the final few minutes of Game 2 due to an ankle injury.

Lowry would eventually come back out and sit on the bench for the end of the Raptors' 117-106 loss, but he did not return to the court. Backup point guard Greivis Vasquez closed out the game at the position for Toronto, which now trails 2-0 in the first-round series.
Before the injury, Lowry was having a poor game on both sides of the court. The All-Star recorded just six points on 3-of-10 shooting, four assists and two rebounds over 27 minutes. He also got torched by Wizards point guard John Wall, who went off for 26 points and 17 assists to lead the Wizards to a win.
The Raptors haven’t given any indication Lowry’s injury is serious, which is good news as the series heads to D.C. for Game 3. The team will need its star point guard to climb back into this series, and it appears Lowry should be okay by Friday night.
