Wizards vs. Hawks 2015: Time, TV schedule and live stream for NBA playoffs
Washington blew by the Raptors in the first round while Atlanta struggled in a six-game series, but the Hawks showed signs of being themselves in their most recent game.

Certainly, no one expected Atlanta to need six games to knock off the stumbling, bumbling Nets. Brooklyn played well but the Hawks were positively un-Hawk-like, at least until Game 6. On Friday, shots finally fell -- Millsap had 25 while DeMarre Carroll and Kyle Korver each tallied 20 on Atlanta's way to a 111-87 win. As a whole, the Hawks shot 50.6 percent from the floor while nailing 13 three-pointers at a 41-percent clip.
But that closeout game was on Friday, and now the Hawks play again with just a day of rest. Washington has had exactly one week to prepare and relax after downing Toronto in four games. For veterans like Paul Pierce and Nene, that can only be a good thing.
Atlanta may be fine, of course. They won 60 regular season games through outstanding all-around play that hasn't suddenly abandoned them. They just missed more shots than usual against Brooklyn. Toronto focused too much on John Wall and gave up open shots all over the floor, but if Jeff Teague can't handle him on an island, the Hawks' defense is more disciplined and shouldn't make the same mistakes while rotating around the perimeter. While Washington showed they have some punch, Atlanta is still the favorite.
