After they took Game 1 with ease, many were expecting the Warriors to run away with their second round series against the Grizzlies. Memphis thought differently and with the return of Mike Conley evened things out on Tuesday with a convincing win on the road. The Warriors, who had looked unbeatable at Oracle Arena, are facing adversity arguably for the first time this season and it will be interesting to see how they react against a Grizzlies team that has experience on their size.

The Warriors will look to go back to the winning path and regain homecourt advantage when they visit Memphis.
For Golden State to regain control of the series Klay Thompson will have to play better than he did on Game 2. The All-Star shooting guard scored 13 points on 16 shots and never looked comfortable being guarded by Tony Allen. With Stephen Curry shooting 2-11 from outside, the Warriors simply didn't have the firepower to beat Memphis. The Splash Brothers can't afford to have another down game or their team could find itself in a must-win situation on Game 4.
As for the Grizzlies, can they keep up the level they showed in Oakland or was that just an anomaly brought about by the emotional boost they got from Conley's return? All the starters had good games, with Tony Allen wreaking havoc on defense. They will need him to contain Thompson again while Zach Randolph continues to take advantage of the smaller Draymond Green to have a shot at pulling the upset.
Game 3 will likely set the tone for the rest of the series. If the Warriors can impose their will, like they did on the opening game of the series, it will likely mean that the Grizzlies will once again fall short against a better offensive team. If instead Memphis can control the pace and force Golden State to grind through half court possessions, the series could go long and the Grizzlies could be the last team standing.
