The Golden State Warriors will celebrate their NBA championship with a parade, naturally. Fans can begin lining the streets at 8 a.m. ET (5 a.m. local) on Friday for festivities set to begin at 1 p.m. ET.
Golden State Warriors parade 2015: Start time, TV schedule, route and more
Oakland is celebrating a sports championship again, FINALLY. Here’s how you can check out the Warriors’ parade, in person, on television or online.
The proceedings should be lively. Oakland has not celebrated a professional sports championship since 1989, when the Oakland Athletics won the World Series. It has not hosted a parade for the Warriors since 1975.
The parade will begin on Broadway at 11th Street, run up to Grand Ave., go right until Harrison, right again until Lakeside Drive, then on to Oak where it will finish at the Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center where a rally will take place. Those hoping to see everything in person may need to wake up early. Luckily, the BART will be running extra trains to assist revelers.

Those who would like to avoid the crowd can tune in on television. CSN Bay Area will begin broadcasting the celebration at noon ET (9 a.m. local) and is planning more than six hours of coverage, including backstage access at the rally. Greg Papa and Garry St. Jean will anchor the broadcast.
