Good morning. What a boring start to NBA free agency.

That and more in Thursday’s NBA newsletter.

Good morning. Let’s basketball.

WELL, UH, ALRIGHT: That was without question the most insane July 1 in memory. Something like 30 free agents secured deals with roughly $1.5 billion being locked in. We can’t possibly list them all here in GMIB. But we have listed them all at SB Nation for your viewing pleasure. We’ve also listed all the rumors as they’ve percolated. We’ll keep updating those all week and month.

The biggest news items since Wednesday’s newsletter: LaMarcus Aldridge appears to be choosing between the Spurs and the Suns (!), after the Spurs shipped Tiago Splitter to the Hawks to free up space for LMA, and the Suns grabbed Tyson Chandler and brought him to their LMA meeting (!). The Lakers’ meeting with LMA was reportedly bad and while we’re not blaming Kobe, we sure are sensing a trend.

Meanwhile the Hawks took in Splitter, kept Paul Millsap and lost DeMarre Carroll to the Raptors.

Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson and Iman Shumpert are all staying in Cleveland. Expect LeBron to announce a new deal any hour now.

The Warriors kept Draymond Green.

Paul Pierce chose the Clippers.

The Kings traded Nik Stauskas, Jason Thompson, Carl Landry, a protected first and two pick swap options for ... cap space. They are hustling to woo Wes Matthews, Rajon Rondo and/or Monta Ellis. This is a risky, bad idea.

The Grizzlies literally stole Brandan Wright. STOLE.

And, like I said, there was A LOT more.

DAJ WATCH: DeAndre Jordan has his final two meetings on Thursday.

DRAYMOM WINS: Watching Draymond and his mom celebrate his $85 million contract on Facetime is great.

TRAVELING MAN: The great Jonathan Abrams on whether Thomas Robinson will ever find his basketball home.

WOJ ON WOJ: A really excellent Q&A with Adrian Wojnarowski, in which the best reporter in the game gets a bit existential and super funny.

YES: A strong case on the need for more women’s sports coverage. I’m super proud of the work Kevin McCauley and the soccer team here at SB Nation have done on the Women’s World Cup, and the work our team at Swish Appeal has done over the years.

Happy Thursday. See you next time.
