Gay finished the evening with 24 points, obviously none more important than the last two. The win for the Kings pulled them within a game of the 8th-place Jazz, and within a game of a playoff spot. Pretty big road win for a Kings team with enough talent to be dangerous.
The Kings had an even better angle.
