The NBA has released the second preliminary returns for the All-Star game's voting. The biggest news is Warriors' forward Draymond Green has jumped over Blake Griffin and Kawhi Leonard for the final starting spot among frontcourt players.
If voting ended today, Draymond Green would be an NBA All-Star starter
The second returns for the All-Star game’s voting are in, and Draymond Green is the big winner.

Green posted three straight triple-doubles recently, something only 15 players in NBA history have done, and won Player of the Week. He stepped up his game in Stephen Curry's absence and it's obvious voters have noticed. He's more than doubled the amount of votes from one return to the next, going from 160,350 to 332,223 votes. Leonard and Griffin are now fourth and fifth in frontcourt votes, but not far behind, totaling 330,929 and 298,212 votes, respectively.
In the East, the same five players have remained slotted as starters in the second return. Kyrie Irving, who has only played seven games, actually gained more separation on Kyle Lowry, going from being ahead roughly 10,000 votes to now having a 30,000-vote buffer. Carmelo Anthony, meanwhile, has gained some ground on Andre Drummond for the last starting spot for frontcourt players. After trailing by 16,000 votes, he's now back only roughly 6,000.
Every early All-Star voting return features some head-scratchers and this one was not the exception. Out West, Zaza Pachulia is actually ahead of DeMarcus Cousins in votes. In the East, Paul Millsap ranks 15th, behind Kristaps Porzingis, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Hassan Whiteside and DeMarre Carroll, among others. At least Kevin Garnett is not among the top 15 anymore, I guess.
