Stephen Curry scored 46 points and tied an NBA record with 12 three-pointers in a comeback win for the Warriors in overtime over the Thunder in Oklahoma City. Elsewhere, the Spurs built a big early lead and never looked back to beat the Rockets 104-94 in Houston.

Though the Warriors rallied to beat the Thunder on Saturday to go to 53-5, there’s some trouble in paradise. During the game, ESPN’s Lisa Salters reported hearing yelling from the visiting locker room, which she attributed to Draymond Green. The emotional, profanity-laced tirade included Green screaming, “I am not a robot. I know I can play.”

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith provided more details on Monday:

Kevin Durant was perfect until he wasn’t

Durant was instrumental in helping the Thunder come close to defeating history’s greatest team. He was also pivotal in the eventual loss.

As he shot, Durant rushed to close out and inadvertently fouled him. Despite missing the shot, Iguodala, shooting 61 percent on free throws this season at the start of play, made both and sent the game into overtime. Iguodala shrugged on his way to Steve Kerr.

Behold Steph and the Warriors in their purest form

And Stephen Curry and his Warriors relished in chopping off their heads.

It was all so Warriors. It could have been scripted except that Curry and the Warriors are bending the limits of believability. Kids who imagine themselves heroes on the blacktop, counting down the seconds of an invented championship game and hitting the most incredible shots over invisible defenders -- those kids think this is all a bit too on the nose.

    That changed on Saturday.

Curry got the ball after a rebound, walked past the half-court line, and as he looked at the rim the tension became palpable. Two small, quick steps and the release followed. Swish, from 38 feet out.

Karl-Anthony Towns steal with an even better dunk

Karl-Anthony Towns is only in his first year as an NBA player, so it’s not surprising to see him make great strides into becoming a well-rounded professional. But we didn’t expect him to progress this fast. This play against the New Orleans Pelicans just shows how much he can do on both ends of the court.

From the moment the pass was initiated, Towns had his eye on the ball. And to celebrate that great steal, he decided to throw it down.

Stephen Curry is tired of ‘annoying’ criticism

    Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

At this point in the season, everyone has given their opinion on whether the Golden State Warriors are the best team in history of the NBA. And a lot of it isn’t positive. As stellar as the team has been throughout this season (they’re probably going to clinch a playoff spot in February for crying out loud!) fans and former players alike still undermine the defending NBA champs.

The legendary Oscar Robertson thinks that current defenses just aren’t trying hard enough to contain Curry. Even former Warriors player Stephen Jackson chimed in, saying that his old Warriors squad which upset the no.1-seed Mavericks can beat this squad.
