Stephen Curry returns to action after hurting his ankle against the Thunder

The Warriors’ star suffered a big scare when he had to leave the game against the Thunder after hurting his ankle.

Stephen Curry had to leave the game and go to the locker room early in the third quarter of the game against the Thunder after suffering an ankle injury. Fortunately for the Warriors, it was just a scare, as he was able to return to action minutes later.

Curry drove to the rim, jumped to pass and landed awkwardly on his left ankle. It looks like Russell Westbrook inadvertently stepped on it, as well.

Curry walked gingerly to the locker room following the play but returned to action mid-way through the third quarter.
