The Warriors made a run during the second half of Game 6 of the NBA Finals, but LeBron James made sure it was nothing more than an empty threat. Not only did James close the game out strong, he completely took over.
LeBron James contributed to nearly every Cavaliers point down the stretch in Game 6

Golden State cut the lead to nine at the end of the third quarter. James responded with 10 straight points for Cleveland. He either scored or assisted on the Cavs’ first 19 points of the quarter. Only a technical free throw by Kyrie Irving broke that streak. He scored or assisted on 27 of 30 points in the fourth quarter before subbing out.
It was a dominant stretch in a pivotal time of the game. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and the Warriors were charging, and James simply charged back harder.
From 5:38 of the 3rd to 2:59 of the 4th, LeBron James scored or assisted on 35 of the Cavaliers 36 points
