NBA Draft 2016 live stream: How to watch online

Don’t miss out on all the action from the 2016 NBA Draft.

The 2016 NBA Draft takes place on Thursday in Brooklyn, and the fate of several franchises could be altered. The Philadelphia 76ers will choose first with the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics holding the second and third picks, respectively.

Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram lead the 2016 class of picks, and are expected to be the top two picks -- although who the 76ers will choose first remains a question mark.

The 76ers, Celtics and Denver Nuggets will be the most active teams on Thursday. The 76ers, who parted ways with "Trust the Process" leader Sam Hinkie this offseason, will pick first, 24th and 26th. With a young core of big men already in place, they could be part of a trade sending picks or current roster spots to a new location.

The Celtics, meanwhile, have a roster fresh off a trip to the playoffs, where they hung with the Atlanta Hawks for six games. They'll pick in the No. 3 spot thanks to the trade that sent Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to the Brooklyn Nets. While it's unlikely that Simmons or Ingram will be available, they'll have plenty of talent to choose from with players like Buddy Hield, Kris Dunn and Dragan Bender on the board. After picking third, the Celtics also have the 16th and 23rd pick in the draft to bolster their bench.

The Nuggets are selecting seventh, 15th and 19th on Thursday, with a chance to add to their already young and talented core. With Emmanuel Mudiay entering his second year after being drafted seventh in the 2015 draft and Jusuf Nurkic turning into a force down low after being taken 16th in the 2014 draft, the Nuggets can make some serious moves in this year's draft.

Don’t be surprised if some players are dealt on Thursday night, too -- it’s not uncommon for trades to go down on draft night. It should be an exciting night in the NBA.
