NBA Summer League schedule 2016: Ben Simmons takes on the Warriors

No. 1 pick Ben Simmons returns to the court following a day off and his best Summer League performance yet.

Tuesday at Las Vegas Summer League features six games, with the final game of the day providing another opportunity to watch No. 1 overall pick Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers. Let's take a look at all the action happening on the fifth day in Vegas (all times ET).

Wizards (1-1) vs. Nets (2-0), 4 p.m., Cox Pavilion, NBA TV

Neither the Wizards nor Nets have a 2016 first-round pick in Summer League, as Washington didn’t have a pick and Brooklyn’s Caris LeVert is still recovering from an injury. But the Wizards have gotten prolific scoring out of 2015 first-rounder Kelly Oubre Jr., who’s gone over 20 points in each of his first two games, albeit on 38 percent shooting. Roster hopeful Michael Eric is making his case to make the big club with averages of 16.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting nearly 78 percent from the field.

For the Nets, 2015 first-rounder Chris McCullough is making a nice impression after missing the majority of last season due to a torn ACL. The youngster is averaging 12.5 points and 8.0 rebounds in 24.5 minutes per game. Fellow 2015 first-rounder Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is shooting poorly thus far, but he's stuffed the stat sheet by recording 5.5 points, six rebounds, four assists and five steals per game.

Trail Blazers (0-2) vs. Jazz (1-1), 4:30 p.m., Thomas & Mack Center, NBA TV

Another game with zero 2016 first-rounders participating. The Blazers' standout performer thus far has been Noah Vonleh, the No. 9 pick in 2014 who hasn't yet found his stride in the NBA. In Vegas he's averaging a double-double through two games with 14 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.

2015 Jazz lottery pick Trey Lyles has been filling it up throughout the summer in both Utah and Vegas. Through four Summer League games, he's averaging 22.2 points and 9.0 rebounds in 31.5 minutes per game. He's not shooting all that well at just over 37 percent, but he's been scoring a lot of points at the charity stripe to make up for it.

Celtics (0-2) vs. Mavericks (1-1), 6 p.m., Cox Pavilion, ESPN2

No. 3 pick Jaylen Brown has had a rough go of it this summer for Boston. He first suffered a knee injury in his debut in Utah, and he's really struggled offensively to the tune of 3-of-19 shooting in his two Vegas games. The young guard has shown his defensive versatility, but that shooting remains a concern moving forward. Fellow 2016 first-rounder Guerschon Yabusele and 2015 first-rounders R.J. Hunter and Terry Rozier have been productive.

Jonathan Gibson, a 28-year-old Summer League journeyman, has led the Mavericks with 20 points per game in Vegas. 2015 first-round pick Justin Anderson is putting up 14.5 points per game, although he hasn't shot the ball well and has made just a third of his attempts.

Heat (1-1) vs. Suns (2-0), 6:30 p.m., Thomas & Mack Center, NBA TV

The Heat recently rewarded Rodney McGruder with a contract, and he's shown why in Vegas by pouring in 20.5 points per game while shooting over 48 percent overall and making two-thirds of his three-pointers. Both Justise Winslow and Josh Richardson are on the Vegas Summer League roster, but they haven't played after participating in Orlando Summer League.

Suns 2015 lottery pick Devin Booker has dominated Vegas with 26 points, 6.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game, and his time might be finished as he prepares to play for the USA Basketball Select Team. 2016 lotto picks Dragan Bender and Marquese Chriss have both shown glimpses of their potential, but both are clearly raw. Second-round pick Tyler Ulis has proven his worth with strong play on both sides of the ball.

Spurs (2-0) vs. Bulls (2-0), 8 p.m., Cox Pavilion, ESPN

Kyle Anderson has led the Spurs in his third Summer League. The 22-year-old dominated in Utah, and that's continued in Vegas. He's been remarkably consistent in averaging 21.6 points and 7.4 rebounds while scoring on good efficiency. 2016 first-rounder Dejounte Murray has done some nice things, although he's shot poorly and has been careless with the ball.

Nobody on the Bulls has really stood out with huge performances, but they've gotten some nice efforts from key players. 2015 first-rounder Bobby Portis had a strong first game, while frontcourt mate Cristiano Felicio had a big showing in their second game. 2016 lottery pick Denzel Valentine has struggled with his outside shot but shown promise as a ball handler.

76ers (0-2) vs. Warriors (0-2), 8:30 p.m., Thomas & Mack Center, NBA TV

Ben Simmons returns to the floor after his best Summer League performance to date. The top pick struggled with his shot and was hesitant at times in his first few games, but he backed up his vow to be more aggressive by scoring 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting against the Bulls on Sunday. And while his shooting hasn’t been up to snuff throughout this summer, his passing has been dynamite.

The Warriors' Summer League squad has really struggled in Vegas. They're shooting under 30 percent from the field, with even their highest scorers struggling. D-Leaguer Keifer Sykes is leading the team with 15.5 points per game on 36 percent shooting, while second-round pick Patrick McCaw is putting up 13.5 points per game on under 39 percent from the field. First-round pick Damian Jones isn't playing due to an injury.
