The Los Angeles Clippers updated the status of All-Star forward Blake Griffin to “probable” for their Tuesday night matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Clippers reporter Rowan Kavner.
Blake Griffin expected to return from knee injury after 18-game absence
Clippers are 11-9 without Griffin, 19-7 with him.

Griffin had missed Los Angeles’ last 18 games after undergoing “a routine arthroscopic routine to remove loose bodies from his knee” in mid-December. Head coach Doc Rivers on Monday said Griffin would “most likely” return against the 76ers.
The Clippers (30-16) are 11-9 in games without their All-Star power forward in the rotation. He is averaging 21.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game this season.
The 27-year-old Griffin battled a quad injury and knick-knacks that sidelined him for all but 35 games last season. He hasn’t played a full year since the 2013-14 season.
Griffin returns as Chris Paul, who broke his thumb against the Thunder on Jan. 16, is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks recovering. He has not played a game without Paul this season and averaged 29 points, nine rebounds and 6.8 assists through four games without his floor general last season.
