After breaking a bone is his face last week, Kyrie Irving returned to the court on Tuesday night wearing a new face mask. He finished the night with 25 points, five assists, and some clutch plays down the stretch to keep the Nets from making a real comeback.

It wasn’t all pretty for Kyrie, though. He threw off his mask in disgust during the first half, only to have to put it right back on.

Yes, after that disastrous start to the season, the Celtics are actually right where everyone expected them to be. Tuesday night’s game was a group effort, with 21 points from Marcus Morris, 19 points from Jayson Tatum, and 17 points and 11 rebounds from Al Horford.
This steal from Kyrie that led to a Jaylen Brown-Jayson Tatum alley-oop made it feel like the present and future for the Celtics is quite bright.
That said, the Celtics play the Warriors on Thursday. We’ll see if the win streak holds up.

It’s been a big week for Dennis Smith Jr., after LeBron spoke out saying the Knicks should have drafted him. On Tuesday he kept the hype doing, throwing down a huge dunk over Pau Gasol.

James Harden scored 38, but the Rockets lost to the Raptors
Despite another great scoring night from James Harden, the Raptors were able to go into Houston and grab a solid road win. In what was probably the Raptors’ best win of the season so far, DeMar DeRozan finished with 27 points on 16 shots.
The Raptors also had a big night from rookie OG Anunoby, who finished with a career-high 16 points, two steals, and one block in his first ever NBA start.
