The Lakers beat the Sixers on a game-winning three-point shot from Brandon Ingram on Thursday night, 107-104. The assist came from Lonzo Ball, as L.A. pulled off the upset on the Sixers home court.
LaVar Ball had words of encouragement for Joel Embiid after the Lakers vs. Sixers game
Their beef might be over!

After the game, there was no beef between Joel Embiid and the Ball family. LaVar actually came out and gave him a hug!
LaVar: Embiid come on BOY. Bring me noise. Don’t be scared. I’ve got yo ass now. I’m just playin’ man. Good job. You know how we gotta do it sometimes, trying to flip some things around sometimes. Here’s the smart thing. Don’t worry about nobody on the outside. You just keep playing and doing your thing. They’ll try to do some stuff to ya. I do my own thing so they can’t do anything to me. Good luck.
Embiid later posted this on Instagram:
That’s a big turnaround from Embiid’s previous posts. Three weeks ago he posted this of Lonzo after the Sixers beat the Lakers:
It seems their beef has settled.
