The Houston Rockets have traded K.J. McDaniels to the Brooklyn Nets, according to the Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Rockets trade K.J. McDaniels to Nets to clear cap space
Houston makes its second deadline move.

The Rockets freed $3.3 million in cap space to enter the buyout market. No deal is imminent, but Andrew Bogut could be a name that comes into play for Houston. Philadelphia is expected to buyout his contract if it can’t construct a trade for him before Thursdays deadline.
The Nets will get a 23-year-old McDaniels who hasn’t found his way since leaving the Sixers. He’s appeared in just 29 games this year, playing seven minutes and scoring three points. With the Nets just having traded Bojan Bogdanvoic, he may have a chance to play more minutes in Brooklyn.
Houston made another move earlier in the week, moving a struggling Corey Brewer to the Lakers for Lou Williams. The Rockets appear to truly going for it in the West against the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors.
