It was a tough Thursday night for Kobe Bryant.
LeBron James passed Kobe Bryant in playoff scoring and made 3-pointers
He did both in the same game.

Midway through the second quarter of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Game 3 matchup with the Indiana Pacers, LeBron James passed Bryant to enter third place all-time in NBA postseason scoring:
It’s worth noting LeBron managed to accomplish this feat in 18 fewer games than Bryant, though the two average a similar PPG per 36 minutes.
Later in the game, James nailed his 293rd post-season triple, passing Bryant yet again to enter fourth place all-time in playoff 3-pointers.
LeBron flashed a huge smile after the shot, almost as if he knew:
LeBron and Kobe are two of the greatest playoff performers in NBA history, but with Kobe in retirement, expect to see LeBron continue to climb his way to the top of these lists.
