The Wizards forced a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals thanks to a late game three-pointer from John Wall. This was one of those shots you knew was going from the second it left his hands. It gave the Wizards a 92-91 lead that would hold for the final 3.5 seconds.
John Wall’s game-winning three-pointer just saved the Wizards season
This was huge!

Wall stepped into the moment as stars do, just after Al Horford had hit a huge shot on the other end of the court with 7.7 seconds remaining.
In fact, Brad Stevens had drawn up two great plays out of timeouts and it looked like the Celtics were going to pull away with this one.
But John Wall had other plans.
The Wizards are now the first home team to win in an elimination game in this playoffs series. Wall finished the night with 26 points, 8 assists, and one of the biggest shots in the history of Washington D.C. sports.
This will be the Wizards first Game 7 since 1979. Whew.
